About Me Artist Statement: I make pots that are comfortable, sensual and planned. Function holds the guidelines while voluptuous, organic forms and quiet subtleties in glazed surfaces provide intrigue and invite the touch. On and off of the wheel, the pot is coerced to exemplify the texture, movement, line and presence of botanical and aquatic life. I find reward and challenge when I successfully combine use with a playful liveliness. My work is sincere, approachable and begs to be used while remaining elegant and distinguished enough to stand alone as a centerpiece.
